Welcome to the Gracie

Welcome to the Gracie Theatre at Husson University in Bangor, Maine.  Our beautiful 490-seat theatre completed in October of 2009 is Husson's center for the fine and performing arts. The Gracie also serves as a learning platform for students from the New England School of Communications in digital audio, sound mixing, set design and construction, lighting, acting and electronics. COVID UPDATE as of JANUARY 2022

As reported by the CDC, Penobscot County, our county, has been designated as having high COVID-19 community transmission. Therefore, in accordance with CDC guidelines, everyone attending indoor public gatherings on campus – whether vaccinated or unvaccinated – must wear a mask. This applies to all events at the Gracie Theatre. Thank you for your efforts to keep our campus community safe.

Upcoming shows and events

Friday. Jan 28, 7:00 PM - CROSS THAT RIVER, The Story of a Runaway Slave Who Became a Black Cowboy. Composed by Allan Harris, this compelling tale of freedom integrates fiction with historical fact, and each song presents a different page in a complicated chapter of American History.  Tickets $23.50-$34.50 plus $2.50 per ticket fee.

Tuesday & Wednesday, February 1 & 2. 7:00 p.m - BANFF FILM FESTIVAL, Tickets are $15.00 and are available in person at EPIC SPORTS on Center street in downtown Bangor, or by calling their store at 941-5670. 

Saturday, Feb. 12, 5:00 PM - LOVE LETTERS by A.R Gurney. This two-person play featuring LA Law stars and real-life couple, Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker is the perfect valentine date! Tickets $26.50-$42.50. Special Champagne Meet and Greet after the show = $20.00 per person.
